If your overlay campaign is receiving few (or no) impressions, the issue is usually related to campaign settings. Below are the most common reasons and how you can check them.
1. Limited Traffic From Target Visitors
If the audience / segment you’re targeting has low traffic, your campaign may not have enough opportunities to appear. Here’s how to track traffic from target visitors:
- Audiences: Navigate to Explore > Audiences, click on your target audience, and review the traffic trend
- Segments: Navigate to Explore > Companies, filter by your target segment, and review the traffic trend
2. Low Traffic to Display Pages
Your campaign will only be shown on the pages it’s set to display. If those pages receive low traffic, impressions will also be low.
- Check traffic by navigating to Explore > Assets, filter on the relevant area, and review the total visits and visits trend
- You can also use the button table on the screen to insert a specific URL or select a page tag, and then review the visits
3. Campaign Priority
When multiple overlay campaigns are active, only one will be shown to a visitor on a page. The order of campaigns in the Campaign Manage screen (Activate > Journey-level > Campaigns) determines the priority. The campaign that appears highest in the list will take priority and be displayed over the others.
- Use the Collision button (top-right corner of the manage screen) to enter a URL and see which campaigns are active on that page

- To change priority, click the six dots icon next to a campaign and drag it to a new position in the list
