Priority of Overlay Personalization Units
Overlay personalization units are layouts that appear on top of a webpage (such as a pop-up) rather than being embedded directly into the page.
Within Trendemon you can create several types of overlay units: Campaigns, Orchestration offers, ContexTiles, Autopilot and Streams.
Since multiple overlays on the same page could overwhelm visitors, Trendemon applies a priority logic, so that only one overlay unit will be shown to a visitor per page.
If a visitor is eligible for multiple overlays on the same page, only one will be displayed, based on the following priority order:
- Streams
- Campaigns
- Orchestration offers
- Autopilot
Note: An overlay ContexTile unit can be displayed in parallel with the other overlay units mentioned above. However, once the visitor expands the unit or starts typing a question, all other overlay units are paused to avoid distractions.
In addition to that, we can display multiple overlay campaigns on the same page to the same audience /segment, provided that:

At least one campaign uses an exit-intent trigger

The campaigns are of different types (for example, one slider and one lightbox — not two lightboxes)

There is a minimum of 15 seconds between triggers for each campaign.
