Explore Acquisition: Gain Insights into Traffic Sources and Media Campaigns

The Explore Acquisition screen provides valuable insights into the channels and campaigns that drive traffic to your website and their impact on goal conversions.

To access this screen, navigate to Explore > Acquisition.

This screen offers two main views:

    • Source Type – Referrals:
      Explore insights based on referral sources such as Direct, Google Organic, LinkedIn Paid, LLM chats (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity), and more.

  • Source Type – Campaigns:
    Review data based on your specific marketing campaigns, such as marketing automation emails, media campaigns, and more.

You can also filter by a specific goal to see how each source contributed to conversions.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to view detailed metrics per source:

    • Visits: Total number of visits originating from the source

    • Sessions: Total number of sessions that began from this source

    • Goals Completed: Number of goals achieved after being referred to the website by this source

  • Read Rate: A unique Trendemon metric combining scroll depth and time on page. It represents the percentage of pageviews marked as “read” out of the total pageviews from this source

  • Organic Uplift: Percentage of visitors who returned organically to the website in the session immediately following this source (measured over the past 31 days).

The table also shows where each source appeared in successful visitor journeys that led to goal conversion:

  • Landing: The source brought visitors directly to the landing page (their first pageview)

  • Nurture: The source appeared in the middle of the journey

  • Conversion: The source was the last touchpoint before the goal was completed
