SalesForce Integration

To use the Salesforce API, your organization must be on one of the following 4 editions (the API is enabled by default):

  • Enterprise Edition
  • Unlimited Edition
  • Developer Edition
  • Performance Edition

For Professional Edition organizations, all requests for API access must be purchased and can be processed contacting an Account Executive.

In order to integrate Salesforce you need to create a new connected app in your Salesforce account and provide Consumer Key and Consumer Secret


To create a new connected app follow this tutorial:

Go to Setup -> Build -> Create -> Apps. Click on “New” button.

Enter the name of your application, e.x “TrenDemon Connect”, contact email information, as well as any other information appropriate for your application.

Select Enable OAuth Settings.

Enter Callback URL:

Choose OAuth Scope: Full access, Perform requests on your behalf at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)



After clicking on Save button you will see your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
